CZ’s Parrot is the competitor’s best friend as well as the collector’s holy grail, one of the most exclusive CZs on the market.

The Czechmate is based on a modified version of the CZ 75 TS frame. It comes with all parts necessary to run in IPSC Open or Limited division (both in 9mm). The Czechmate comes configured for Open division competition with a compensator and C-More red dot sight installed. The included front sight adapter replaces the compensator, and the included rear sight replaces the slide racker handle when switching from Open to Limited configuration. A big stick 26-round magazine and 3 20-round magazines are included in the CZ hard case.

The CZ 75 TS Czechmate Parrot in 9mm Luger caliber is the latest addition to the Tactical Sports family of pistols designed specifically for sports shooting under IPSC Open Division rules. This pistol represents the absolute pinnacle, not only in terms of fit and finish but also in terms of the wide range of accessories that are available directly in its standard version. Because the handgun is custom-built, the quality of workmanship is on par with race pistols built directly to IPSC shooters’ specifications.

Individual parts and components are flawlessly fit, broken in, and tested. Every handgun comes with a four-port compensator, a nut for shooting without a compensator, a slide stop with an extended finger piece, a slide stop without a finger piece, ergonomic aluminum grip panels with a new type of pitting, and a side mounting provision for the C-More red dot sight. A standard target rear sight of Tactical Sports type is included for shooting without a red dot sight; the package also includes the front sight. The Czech Mate is a true sporting handgun that is now available to anyone interested in sports shooting.

The Czechmate, CZ’s full-size competition pistol, is being updated. The Czechmate is designed for shooting sports in the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and, more specifically, International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) gun games around the world.

The Czechmate is a high-capacity 9mm race gun with an extended 5.4-inch barrel based on the CZ 75 Tactical Sport. It comes with one 26-round magazine and three 20-round magazines and is ready for both Limited and Open competition right out of the box. It has two sight systems: an Open Division C-MORE Systems Slide Ride 6 MOA red dot sight mounted on the frame, and a Limited Division standard blade front sight that replaces the four-port barrel extension.

Extended safeties, slide release, and magazine release, an extremely undercut grip with aggressive front- and backstrap checkering, ultra-thin aluminum grip panels, a thin semi-flat single-action-only (SAO) competition trigger, a competition hammer, and an enlarged aluminum magwell are among the other Czechmate features.

It is at the pinnacle of competition handguns, so what can they do to update the Czechmate without jeopardizing its performance? They can paint it in attractive colors. However, unlike many two-tone or colored handguns, CZ went all-out with their new Parrot edition.

A picture can express a thousand words. The only significant difference between the standard Czechmate and the Parrot is the hammer style. The parrot is in a technical sense, cheekier. With red, yellow, blue, pink, and green highlights, there should be no doubt that this gun is designed for gaming.

One thing to note is that the Cz 75 ts Czechmate Parrot is currently only listed on the Czech CZ website, but that doesn’t mean that a few of them won’t eventually make their way to the United States. You could always get a regular Czechmate and have the aluminum bits painted. The Czechmate costs $3399 (including the red dot sight; for what you get, it’s actually very competitively priced when compared to the competition), but no price is given for the Parrot.
